About your Growth Mentor (that’s me 👋)
I’m Ro — a countryside girl from Portugal who grew up dreaming about traveling the world. 🌍
At 26, I felt completely stuck — in my career, in my finances, and in my own growth. So I made the scariest (and best) decision of my life:
I decided to leave Portugal and move to Dublin.
It took me about a year of courage-building and saving every euro I could.
Most people thought I was crazy. The ones who mattered said, “Go.”
On January 1st, 2007, I landed in Dublin with:
One night booked in a hostel
No job
No friends or family
And a promise to myself: I’ll figure it out.
Within weeks, I had a job, a house, and I’d met the man who would become my husband, Emanuele (an even bigger dreamer than me).
Together, we set our next big goal: travelling the world.
So we saved again, left our corporate jobs and beautiful apartment behind, and spent 9 months traveling. Along the way, we met people working remotely (this was 2011 — way before it was “normal”), and we decided: It has to be possible for us too.
After that trip, thanks to the right connections and a lot of intention, we landed remote jobs. I went on to lead marketing departments, build teams from scratch, and create and execute marketing strategies — all while living where I wanted.
Eventually, I felt the pull again. I knew I was ready for the next challenge: building my own marketing business.
So once again, I saved, I prepared, and I started over — this time helping service providers grow with a clear strategy, structure, and intentional action.
None of this happened by accident. Every big leap started with:
A clear vision
Specific goals
And a plan to make them real
